Hi Guys!

I'm curious about your opinion when choosing a supplier for safety training...

What makes one training course better than another?
What things do you consider when choosing a training course?
Is there something that's typically missing from the "status quo" training courses?
What about the rise of the internet? Is online training worth the reduced cost or do you prefer "in person" training?

Thanks for your feedback!

Training, when I was in charge was face to face, hands on and continuous. If you are training in the private sector, get the insurance company involved. Call the local OSHA and Office of Pipeline Safety people for recommendations. Always remind them that they could be the next statistic. If you make it important, company pays for time, meeting space, food and a few suits show up and partake, it will be important to the employees.
