Hi folks, I'm new to the forum and I hope I can find a few suggestions to my issue. I have been approached by a client who has a flat roof store where the parapet on one corner of the store is sagging by about foot. I took some pictures of the roof, please see attached. The parapet is about 8' tall and is supported by kickers. You can see the roof deform around the roof joists due to the sagging. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I prefer to not have to redo the waterproofing. The office below has suspended ceiling panels. Questions as follows:
1- What's the least invasive way to fix this?
2- Can the parapet be jacked up and we then install support beams to prop it up?
Thanks in advance, I appreciate any and all advice.
