How are your business skills? can you bring in clients? Could you run a small firm or entire division? If yes to all. I would say 70-80 k plus bonus and benefits.

Here in California, this dual license would be very valuable, once you transfer them. If you really want to set yourself apart, write books in both fields, teach some courses etc. There are really many ways dual licensed individuals like yourself can benefit society.

I work for a very small company, and usually, I handle a variety of things from client contacts to writing proposals to doing the work and sending invoices. I have been thinking of going on my own, but I think that the current michigan economy situation, and the winter season is not the best time to do it. thanks

Go to salary.com, pay the 40 bucks and do a salary report. I did the free one for Grand Rapids, MI and a CE with 8-10 years of experience was about 95K. A land surveyor with 5 years experience was about 50K, big range there!
