Salary Range (Elect. Eng. - Power Systems)

I'm hoping to get some feedback regarding salary range in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems). I have a Master's degree with just over 2 years experience in Power Systems. What would be the salary range in general (Low End - Avg. - High End) for a person with my qualification ?

The question is kinda meaningless without some idea of where you are and the industry you are in. For example, a power engineer with a British DNO is typically paid far less than a power engineer on an oil platform in the North Sea. An engineer in the North East of England will be paid significantly less than his counterpart in London (and still have a better quality of life!). Those variations are within one small nation - extrapolate that to the globe and you will understand why the question is too vague.

I've noticed that electrical pay ranges seemingly vary more widely than other disciplines. Also, electrical engs. usually get paid more than other disciplines (at least in my part of the world). After two years some of the guys I went to school with are now making $20k more than me, and some are $10k behind. This varies widely with what city or part of the country he/she is living. Just to throw a number out there, and assuming you are living where the cost of living is in the middle of the range for the US. I imagine that $50k/$60k/$70k would represent low/avg/high for your qualitications.
