Dear Folks;
I have a client who wants a color coded drawing made.
The drawing is meant to be laminated and shipped with the equipment so the operators can pull out the drawing and refer to it as needed.
On the drawing I have a line that carries water, another that carries chemical and another that carries air. All the lines have to be color coded respectively blue for water, brown for chemical and red for air.
Given that the lines have identical components (valves, adapters, nipple and couplings and so on) how can I get them color coded properly on paper ?
Tried setting up layers and adjusting component line font but that just colors all identical components on the layer. I cant have the same 1" valve individually colored for air, water and chemical.
Up to now I have been just saving it AutoCad and adjusting the colors there. But is there a way to do it using SolidWorks drawings.
Using version 2012
