We want to install a CV analyser in the CO and mixed (i.e., CO+BF) gas lines to a coke oven battery.
Our CO gas has a fair amount of tar residue and also significant napthalene content (about 20mg/Nm3) - which are carry-overs from the byproduct plant.
Can anyone suggest what kind of sample conditioning system we must install for the analysers?
In the past, CV analysers installed in our other batteries have been affected by tar and napthalene choking.
The other problem is that the analyser room needs ac.
Now, in the past, no ac system has been effective: they require too frequent filter cleaning, which is often neglected in the running plant and finally they fail.
Anyone has any suggestions?
