Hi,
I am just wondering if anyone can help me by advising if, in Sap2000 section cut, does the integrated moments M1/M2/M3 account for the Moment M12 in the shell elements?
I have done a check on the M11 of the shell elements against the section cut drawn and it appears that the cuts moment (M2- rotating around the 2-2 axis) is the summation
of the M11 but have not included the M12 of the shell. Can anyone please advise if this is the case?
If this is the case, then where does the M12 be included in the section cut forces? It doesn't sound logical that the section cut forces be ignoring the M12 but I can't convince that
M12 was included as the integrated moment is small compares to the intensity rebars that Sap2000 was showing.
