Hello, I am using Solidworks 2016, NOW it must be me. But I remember SAVE AS COPY was very simple. You just selected SAVE AS COPY, and if you ONLY wanted to save the TOP assembly you could just do that. NOW, when I select SAVE AS COPY, I get a continual SAVE AS (save or cancel) it seems for EVERY part (so I am hitting CANCEL seems like for hours).

Is there a way to turn this off feature and JUST save as copy the TOP assembly like before ONLY?

Thank you in advance.

I don't know about 2016, but in 2017 you will get the options to "Save as, Save as Copy and Continue, and Save as copy and open" - Do you see any of those in the lower left corner of the "Save as" Menu?

Are you sure you didn't select a "Do not ask again" checkbox? Try selecting all your messages or find the one that is causing this happen and check it to return your messages.

Thank you for your reply Scott, I do not or have not seen "DO NOT ASK AGAIN", check box. That is exactly what I have been hoping to see. I looked in OPTIONS, and Messages/Errors/Warning and do see anything there as well..I went in and just checked ALL the messages to reshow..
