Save As DWG 1

Is there a way to save a Catia drawing as a DWG so that it can actually be edited in AutoCad or DWG Editor?

When I saved as dwg and opened it in dwg editor, all the text was block created by lines and was not able to be edited.

You have to go into the Tools/Options...I forget exactly where, but look around in there until you find the layout that has a bunch of Tab's like DXF, DWG, STEP, etc... (I think it is one of the first level branches under General [at the left]). There is a setting on the DWG page that will save the text "as text".
