Bookmarks work in the context of an assembly. Often when working with assemblies you do not need all of the parts open. A bookmark will save a snapshot of your assembly (what parts are loaded, visibility settings, etc) and allow you to restore it at a later time.

It is handy to save a bookmark at the end of a work day then restore it the next morning; it avoids the necessity of manually loading the parts you want to work with each time.

Thanks for valuable information.
It saves my time.

amar

A lot of people have master assemblies so large as to be impossible to open all at once. So bookmarks become an essential way of recording all sorts of assembly opening configurations. How you left the model from one day to the next, the results of a proximity check or what you need to open quickly for a meeting in which you will present data are all very good uses of bookmarks.

Best Regards
