Save Hotkey In CATIA

Hey Guys,

I know that you can map any action to a hotkey by going to Tools/Customize/Commands/All Commands/ click on the desired command and show properties and edit the hotkey from there.

Is it possible to set up a hot key to a custom toolbar like a Teamcenter toolbar in CATIA? I've literally scrolled through all the commands and I dont see any of the commands from that toolbar in there.

Ideas anyone?

If I click on the toolbars tab I see the toolbar. I just dont see the commands in the list.. I mean they have to be there.... Right?? I hope...

Hi,

It may not be available for customised toolbars. May be you have to do that in the back end or customise your settings. I am not aware of the back end operations in CATIA.

try this select the toolbar....click Add or Remove commands to add or remove the commands you need for this toolbar.

Check whether the required commands are available in the " All commands " section.

Yeah I dont think its possible directly in CATIA. I had the bright idea of "Hey!! I can drag and drop commands from the list to the toolbars, maybe the reverse is true." So I tried dragging a custom icon to the list and I lost the icon. lol. I had to reset the catsettings to get it back.
