Save options desaster

Hi Friends,

I clicked something else. Now a hole assembly cannot be loaded. What are the loaded options to open all parts I like without error message? Means, is there a golden trick to open all the thinks I like without to care about any options?

There is no such option to "save disaster", you cannot click something that makes the files impossible to open.

Hi Bogdan,

I think you mean NX can't find the child part files in Windows folders - is that right?

If so:

Check File > Options > Assembly Load Options

- from folder means all files are in the same folder as parent assembly
- as saved means they are in their original saved location

If the folder has been renamed / moved in windows, you may need to browse for the files, and then save assembly.

My coworker fixed this problem partly. He used the option "Search Folder" and he add all folders I have.
The other way with the parents-folder does not work.

Because I made a mistake and saved the parts on a stick instead to save it normal and then to
copy to my stick.

So this problem is solved, with a little more work.

The best way is to save all the files in the same directory, so NX and user don't have to look somewhere else to find missing files. Sometimes when path is not set correct NX save files in UGII dir.
