Savin with a script

Hi,

Has anyone setup any basic filename incrementing etc using a script in V5?

I want to set something up which basically goes through the save management list and saves all mofidied documents but increments a number in the filename first.

Sort of a poor mans PDM/VPM.

I havent done any scripting in Catia before, so Im looking to start with something similar and then modify it.

You will find this very difficult as DS don't want you to produce a poor man's pdm. So save management is not available via the automation API nor are all the link types exposed to the automation API. You are going to be stuck with the save as operation. code is available on the COE forum and the CATIAV5forum.
