When saving a UG part file as a Catia file using the translater is there a way to specify which version of V5 to save it in?

No, it will save as the version that you are in . . . but what version NX5 it is saved in really shouldn't matter.
Did you mean that you want to save it in a differnt version of "NX" than NX5?

We have the UG to Catia translator and want to be able to save the files as Catia v5 R18 files.

I beleive that the 'Save-As' option only provides support for Catia V5 while File -> Export -> supports both Catia V5 and Catia V4.

Thanks for the quick response. The problem that we are having is when we use the File -> Export -> CATIA V5 there is no option to pick what release version of CATIA to export too like their is for DXF files. Sometime's the files are CATIA V5 R14 and other times they are CATIA V5 R20. We would like to be able to export everything as CATIA V5 R18 since this is the version that our customer is using.

Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at the ugtocat.def(?) file to see if there is a setting for V5 version?
