Hello all,
When saving an assembly BOM as an Excel file we kept having trouble with the text becoming tuncated. This was true for both .xls and .xlsx formats.

If you save the file as a .csv (comma delimited) file, excel does not truncate the text and it is much cleaner for some reason.

Hope this helps someone.

While I don't have the need for this info, thanks for taking the time to share.

Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of these Forums?

This is very applicable to me at the company I'm with currently, BB. Comma delimited, huh? I guess I'll play around with it though.
