Saving Inventor Assemblies from STEP format

Dear Folks;

I am bringing in assemblies in STEP format to Inventor 10. When I save the resulting .iam file, the assembly goes to the directory I specify but the the ipt files all get saved elsewhere.

How do I set things up so that all files, .iam, .ipt and .idw allways go to the same place when being saved as something new.
