Scandinavian Furniture Fasteners

I am looking for a round plastic fastener into which a metal slotted fitting is inserted. You can then insert a screw into the metal slotted fitting and turn the slotted fitting so the screw is secure. These plastic fasteners have cracked on a teak Scandinavian Design piece of furniture I own. Does anyone know where I can find replacements for these?

Sounds like you are looking for plastic cam. Hettich, Haefle and Titus are some of the manufacturers that produce these cams.

You might try lows in their hardware section. Seems like I've seen European type connectors there.
