Oct 5, 2015 #3 rb1957 Aerospace Apr 15, 2005 15,596 0 36 CA it's 4 isn't it ? ('cause pure shear is equal tension/compression ... so that at the Kt = 3 location for the tension load the compression has a Kt of -1, which'd make it add to the tension. another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?
