I'm trying to find a product but not sure what it is called. I've seen them before, just never used them or specified them on a design. It is basically a scraper ... looks like an o-ring that is cut and put in a straight line. The cross section would be a little different than a standard o-ring, but that is the basic idea. It can be pressed into a straight groove to wipe a flat surface.

The application ... a static disc break. I want to wipe the disk as it spins to keep contaminates out of the break pad area. Will not be constantly spinning, maybe 15-30 RPM.

Can anyone think of what these are called? Know a mfg'r?
