Screws into Side Grain of woods

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know of a section of the NDS that provides edge distance and other values for fastening into the side grain of wood? I haven't had much luck finding it if it's there.

The NDS has end, edge, and spacing requirements for different types of fasteners in each chapter depending on what fasteners you are using. I'm not at my computer, but you'll see the little diagrams and tables that follow for each.
