WHEN SIZING A SCRUBBER I FOUND A 'MOMENTUM CRITERION' TO SIZE THE INTERNAL NOZZLE DIAMETER IT WAS/
mean density of the mixturein the feed pipe*(velocity of the mixture)^2
it's value must be < 6000
can u explain for what is this criterion and if i have a momentum > 6000 what shall i do
thx

To keep the nozzle jet reaction from bending the vessel wall.

Cut the flow in half and buy another vessel just like it and run them in parallel.

can u give me something in literature that refers to it.
i'll be sooo thankful

F = M * A ?

This is as close to rocket science as piping and fluid mechanics can get
