Hi,

I will be writing the SE1 exam in October, in Seattle. Do you please have any tips for how to get prepared the best? I have been practising for 20+ years... I really want to do my best - what is your experience/advice? THANK YOU!

Read all the questions first. Work very, very quickly on the ones you think you know best. If successful you may be in the 25% that pass.

Look for a past exam by the organization that writes the exam.
National Council of Examiners for Enigneering and Land Surveying (NCEES)
P.O. Box 1686
Clemsen, SC 29633-1686
800-250-3196
The exam you will want to order is the "Principles and Practice of Engineering
Structrual I Engineering Sample Questions & Solutions."
There is also a sample exam for Sturctural II also.

The sample exams are from recent "real" exams!
