I am working a seal mechanism for a power recovery pump (reverse centrifugal pump)in on a rich amine stream
I need information on the safety and reliability control mechanism around the Power recovery pump.
Information on the integration of control systems that automatically bypasses the power recovery unit, should there be a gas leakage or pump failure is what we need.
The power recovery unit will use a dual pressurized seal with a barrier fluid.
Information needed include:
1. control options for the seals and sealing mechanism
2. control options available to detect gas leaks and integration with the by-pass shut –off valve
3. control options available for the power recovery unit
4. Are there specific integration techniques that has proven successful in other projects?
5. layout of the scheme or mechanism of the by-pass control system that insures safety and reliability
6. What are the site specific requirement that will be needed to implement the control scheme?
