Hello. Can someone advise whether Inconel 800 material is suitable for seal gas electric heater element fabrication please?

Max Operating temperature will be 45degC.

Heating element is to be used in heating up the seal gas (routed process gas) which in turn is used to prevent leakage of process gas into the environment during compression stage.

You need to provide more details than that if you want to ask for advice.
Think of temperature, pressure, service, fluid, a sketch, applicable design code.
What does this seal has heated element do? Is it an element used to heat up a seal gas? Seal gas for what?

It'd be perfect. What's a Seal Gas heater element?

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

Jela, please reply with answers rather than modifying your OP - it's confusing to see what you asked and 'replied' now.
Given the 45°C operating, 800 seems extreme overkill, but too little info is given (again) to judtify that.

@XL83NL. Sorry I just edited the initial post rather than reply.

Yes. Looks overkill as you mentioned. Vendor has some of the material left in stock and asked if they could use it else why I asked the question. Wanted to be sure there isn't something I have overlooked which could cause corrosion damage with such an assembly.

@SnTMan. The element is the tube like coil shape that is heated.

You haven’t mentioned yet what the process gas is.
