I have a situation where a galvanized steel plate was bolted to existing concrete. The steel plate is part of a stop log system on a dam sluiceway. Water is leaking between the steel and concrete in one location. The flow coming through the gap is rather high. The gap is at the bottom of the structure, which has about 12 ft. of hydrostatic head on it.
I need a sealant that can be applied from the downstream (dry) side of the gap to the upstream side to create a watertight seal, without lowering the water level behind the stop logs.
Does anyone know of such a product and application procedure?
