Hi all

I am looking for a sealant that can be applied to a transformer cooling radiator as a short term fix.

The radiators are a thin sheet mild steel affair with a coating that has failed on the botton edges only.

the problem is made very difficult by the fact that some of the rads are "weeping" a little oil at present.

We had started a program of applying "rust convertor" to the problem areas but in doing so we may have weakened some of the very rusty spots.

I am looking for a quick cure paste on bitumen type of thing that will seal the problem areas and will not be effected by the oily surface .The sealant would be able to adhere further up on the rad where there is no oil.Not asking for much am I . Has anyone any possible solutions please
