Seated hydraulic valves in pneumatic service?

This is to question the practicality of using a “seated” 2-way proportional hydraulic valve in pressure control (reducing) pneumatic service. Without any direct experience in seated valves, it is my understanding that, when closed, the poppet is seated against a polymeric or other soft material which gives the valve a “zero” leak specification.

I’m unaware of any proportional pneumatic pressure reducing regulator that can operate at a 6000 psi inlet pressure and have a maximum (full open) Cv around 0.8. Recommendations are welcome!

Active control of the proportional solenoid is attractive because it may possibly reduce or eliminate the “unbalanced effect” which causes many manual pressure-reducing regulators to gradually increase their initial outlet set pressure as the inlet supply pressure decreases.
