Hi,

I have a project that is using a sea water system for heat rejection for a building and it requires a venturi nozzle to ensure adequate mixing and reduced temperature difference (between discharge water from mechanical plant and sea water).

Has anyone used a venturi nozzle before, or do you know of a good supplier/manufacturer that I could go to to get more information on the product?

Thanks.

The US navy's got what they call eductors all over the place to either pump out bilges or to run firemain water through and suck in foaming agent. They can suck up anything smaller than a tennis ball, rags, debris, etc. I can't remember the ratio between primary and pumped medium however, but navy eductors may be a good place to start the search...
