SECTION CUT PROBLEM

Hi All
When I cut a section in a drawing the result is a
section view,rather than a section cut...is there a toggle
/control to go between the two

You need to use section in modeling to 'cut out' the section. In drafting all you can create are 2D views.

Are you talking about an ordinary drafting section cut where you see the background? If so you can turn it off in view style (highlight the view frame and right click), choose the hatching tab and uncheck the background option (NX2)
