In NX there is a setting to have the section view letters be a certain factor bigger than the default text size,
but the word SECTION is the default text size.

Is there a setting to have both the word SECTION and the section view letters be a factor bigger than the default text size?

I would much rather have it the way it is but the "higher-ups" want them the same size ... also, it is not a big deal to manually edit the label after it is put on the drawing, but it would be nice if we didn't have to.
I am on NX6

In the preferences, set the text string to something like this <c2>SECTION<c>.
The '2' is a multiplier of the text size from the default size.

You are right but I would like the <C2> to be placed before the word SECTION instead of the section view letters ...
On your drawing is it before the word SECTION?

It can be...

Do I need tom manually move it there? or is that a customer default setting?

You missed the part where I said in PREFERENCES set the string to <c2>SECTION<c>.

In drafting mode, select Preferences from the menu bar.
Then select View Label...
In the pop-up window, choose the Section button.
Change the Prefix from SECTION to <c2>SECTION<c>.
