Seeding

I am just completing a project just outside of Edmonton, Alberta Canada. My question is, what month is the best to seed slopes that are 2 1/2:1 and what would be the best seed mix to catch fast?

I would check with a local landscape company, or landscape architect. Both should be able to specify the seed mix, any additives, and timing for establishment. Late summer is often best, as the warm ground helps the seed sprout quickly, and if properly watered you could get it established before snow flies.
