Seeking alternate suppliers for simple SPDT antenna switches

For a project at work, I'm looking for some antenna switches with the following characteristics:

2 positions (SPDT)

Prefer N-type connectors

Compatible with UHF (300MHz), maybe up to 30 watts

Manual operation (not a relay)

Self-indicating (such as a knob with pointy end, or a switch with a large handle, prefer the knob)

Behind-panel mounting (so that the cables and connectors are hidden behind the panel)


Possible supplier names would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for that link Higgler.

But it looks as if the PE7139 is intended for mounting on the front surface of the panel (thus exposing the cables and connectors). The mounting holes are in the plate on back surface on the unit, and the shaft is too short for the panel to fit just under the knob. Also, the RF specs (VSWR, Loss, Isolation) are terrible... yikes.

Oh well,
the ugly spec's may be just near the high end and 300 Mhz might be wonderful. Pasternack's pretty good about giving out data. Sometimes they need to know that you need about 1200 of them, wink wink.

A few months ago I had to get some manual control switches (transfer switches, 6 GHz, SMA) for a lab test rig. It seems that most companies only offer electrically controlled switches now. Three companies that do make manual controlled switches are:

One of them may have what you're looking for. I ended up going with Logus mainly since they had the best delivery time, but I can also say that they've worked fine so far.

RLC for me historically (ok, just one incident many years ago, they ripped me off for $25K on 1x2 and 1x6 coax. switches that didn't work when they warmed up), stands for Really Lousy Crap.
