Seismic Anchor Design 17.2.3.4.3 1

Hey Guys,

I'm doing an anchorage design for a nonstructural ponywall condition. I am trying to understand section 17.2.3.4.3 but am really struggling. I'm seeing that for section a my anchor strength has to control, but how do I make that so? Even when my concrete strength is 8000 psiit doesn't work on this section. Am I misunderstanding this?

you should check subparts c) and d) as well. And take note of the beginning of the section language.
