Hi Guys I hope someone can help out here.
I work for a Company that design and build vibration isolators for industrial equipment. we are quoting a project at the moment which involves the isolation of a fan set that is to be installed in a seismic Zone 4 as per UBC 97.
I can handle the design side as long as I have the appropriate input data so what I am looking for is the maximum acceleration levels (and at what frequency) for a zone 4 area as per UBC 97.
All I can find on the net is that Zone 4 is as bad as it gets but that isn't much help without quantifying the levels.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Regards
