Seismic Load on Steel Frames with Roof Truss

Dear all,
I am working on a solar parking canopy project with steel beams and columns and light gauge purlins on top.
What is the path of Load transfer for seismic force in such frame.
Can i apply the total seismic force equally applied on nodes connecting purlins to main frames Or shall i just apply seismic load equally divided into column-beam junction nodes.
