I'm responsible for writing the product specification for our next generation VFD (variable frequency drive) for the HVAC industry. Part of the process is to obtain new ideas, new requirements from around the world.
Recent feedback from our people in the USA, especially California, is to have a drive designed to IBC 2003 specifications and 'certified' accordingly.
Having spent a while asking what this means with no reply, tried searching the web, tried contacting IBC but little response so far.
DOes anybody out there have ideas on where I can find information, anybody have this sort of information?
range of drives will be (typically)0.5Hp~300Hp, 200V~690V range, NEMA 1 and NEMA 12 enclosures.
