Where can I find detailed information for the Response Spectrum Method for Seismic calculations?

Thank you in advance for your help.

For start, a good reading is the IS 1893 standard. Then a valuable reading, perhaps is the AS 1170.4.
Howzat.

Thanks gr2vessels for your feedback.

Sorry s1111,
I didn't mean offence, it appeared from this post of yours that you were not familiar at all with the seismic design for pressure vessels. Please note that the Indian standard for seismic design is still very confusing, particularly with the initial classification of the "structures". Unless you have a close reading of the standard, the RSM would be difficult to explain.

Dear gr2vessels,

Did my reply appear negative. I apologize. I took your advice in good spirit. I did read the IS 1893, before I posted the original post, but I could not find much information for RSM other than IS1893.
Yes, you're correct in your interpretation I am new to Seismic stuff. Though I am not designing. I am simply trying to verify calcs by another vendor to our client.
So thereby I needed to read more, as the vendor used an RSM definition in the software instead of using IS1893RSM (which was also available). There seem to be some differences in the input. And therefore I wanted to know what exactly is the input for the RSM and how it is related and used in IS1893
Another way of saying this is, I understand that IS1893 uses RSM, how a regular RSM model could be used to model IS1893 is the concern.
I will be makaing some headway possibly tomorrow in this direction, any further help would be more helpful.

thanks and regards,
