Selecting Edges throu shaded solids in NX4

In NX3 it was possible to select edges, curves, etc. thru shaded solids without waiting for the QuickPick window. ( for exemple to create an extrude).
It looks like this option was removed in NX4 . It is still working in Wireframe view .

Is there any way in NX4 to have it back?

If you select Edge/Curve from Selection Bar,it will work as NX3.

It is also easier if your shaded view is somewhat translucent.
