Selection intent box in UG NX4

I lost the selection intent box for some reason. When I click extrude the floating selection intent box does not appear. I cannot select single curves or faces or any of the options usually available.
I even went as far as uninstalling UG, rebooting and installing NX4 again. The box is still not there.
Any suggestions?

You could try deleting "user.mtx" from ... C:\Documents and Settings\<yourname>\Local Settings\Application Data\Unigraphics Solutions\NX4

That folder will remain even after the uninstall.

If Paul's suggestion doesn't work, you might also try Preferences -> User Interface and tick Reset Window Position under the Layout tab.

The toolbar may have been inadvertently moved offscreen somehow. I'd recommend docking it once you get it back.

In NX-4 you should just be able to restore your saved role to reset the Icons. Hopefully you have saved one and you know where it lives. It is a saved .mtx file.
