selection of Passenger lift /Over head crane spec.

Hi Guys,
Recently I have just started working on the Electric Traction type passenger lifts(For Hospital/Residential building) and overhead cranes at workshops.
Actually I needed help in selection/approval of Design & Material specification (Motors power,cabling, Steel grade & properties against various capacity of lifts/cranes) that are in-line to one of the accredited international standard, like BS, EN,ISO, DIN etc.
, some comparative charts or any online database.
