Having trouble locating a cable to supply 100kVA at 1000 Volts 3 phase to a platform that is raised and lowered to 350 meters. The cable will be reeled off a drum and needs to be able to support its own weight. Do you know what companies can supply such a cable?

Thanks

Look for ROV (remote operated vehicle) cable. Some suppliers:

South Bay Cable The Rochester Corporation
Alcatel (Nexus?)
JDR Cable Systems (UK)

These are marine cables, but I'm sure these guys can help.

Not sure where your located but United Wire and Cable-
- make a product called Hi-Tensile Verlock - I believe i'ts self supporting to 2000' lengths
and voltages up to 46kV
Anixter usually has Vertitec but not sure on the specs on that
