separator performance in unsteady flow

Does anyone has any experience/knowledge about how
the efficiency of separators are influenced by a pulsating flow?
The flow pulsation I am experiencing are:
Pressure : 1% peak-peak
Velocity : 15-20% peak-peak
frequency : 1-100Hz
