Hello all,
I'm principally interested in possibilities to seperate sand from (esp. chicken) manure.
The desanded fraction will be used for anaerobic digestion, so we have the following requirements:
as little organics/VS in the sand as possible
a TS content in the de-sanded fraction in a range of 10-20% (ideally)
The state of the art seem to be cyclones, centrifugues and gavity settling. While I found no numbers, all seem to require the feedstock to be diluted to ~1% TS - violating my condition 2. Is this dilution correct?
As of now, I'm not sure there's a satisfactory answer - what have I missed?
