Could anyone help me with this issue? I'm detailing a composite part in pro-e wf2. I am trying to get different sequences to appear on different views on the same drawing. For example, the base by itself on one view, another with x amount of plys, and a finished part. I understand how to change the sequence shown on the drawing, but it changes all views. I need to do this on a view by view basis. I tried to set up simplified reps where I excluded certain plys to get the sequences that I want to show. Unfortunately, part simplified reps are not an option in view display in drawings (assembly simple reps only). Also if a simplified rep is setup in an assembly, I have to include/exclude the entire part. Is there a way to exclude specific features of a part in an assembly simplified rep? Or is there a way within the sequence drawing to define different sequences for different views? Any insight would be great.

Ahh, I didn't even think of that. That should work fine. Thanx

I jumped the gun a little there. :( No family tables in composite parts.

I'm not really sure how composite parts work with layers, but it might be possible to put your plys on layers, and then change the layer display status for each view.

LOL having a hell of a time here. Plys cannot be put into layers in composite parts. LOL I thought anything could be put into a layer. It allows other functions within the part to placed in layers, just not the ones that I need.

Actually, you can put plyies on layers, but the cross-section comes through anyway. It only changes the display on the part. This is after making sure the layers for the part and views were set properly, updated drawing, regen, ect.
