Hi All,

We have recently had a crash on our Network Storage Device and have lost all data on it. I have reinstalled the Workgroup server application and its now running.

Problem is I can't get any clients to see the vault.

We are using 2008 Office Professional SP4.0 for both.

Can Anyone help please?

Did the path change after the crash?

I'm pretty sure I have the same path, the server name is the same too.

When you reinstalled PDMW, it must have created a new folder with something like (2) and the end of the folder name?
Check to see if there are two "Workgroups" program folders on the server. If there is, delete the new one.

Is your network Storage device using the same I.P. ? This sounds like a network problem not a PDM problem. Especially if you can see the vault from the Workgroup server.

Got there!

Thanks for the suggestions, all of the network addresses and names were ok.

I needed to set ports up for pdm access. Once this was done all was good.
