Hi ...

I'm wondering if anyone has any problems or glitches with the latest & greatest SW's SP3.0 ???

So far, so good, although I've not yet put it to any real test. PhotoWorks 2 seems to work much better (part of Office package).

I had many problems with SP3.0 and ended up going back to SP1.0. Our SW liason recommended NOT going to SP3.0 because it reintroduced a lot of the glitches that SP1.0 fixed.

I haven't had any problems with SP3.0, nor have I got a lot of calls on re-occuring problems from SP3.0 that was fixed in SP1.0 or 2.1.

Have you tried using 2.1 Automationbabe?

Thanks Scott - I have tried 2.1 and had problems with it. Was excited to see 3.0 until all the problems with that. 1.0 is the most stable for me. Besides, SW has yanked all SP2's off the site for download. 1.0 and 3.0 are the only available ones. I'll stick with 1.0 until the next SP comes around.

Must be some hysteresis is getting that bug fix code to and from India.... ooops, that's supposed to be a secret.

I just loaded SP3.0 and animation performance (using add-in) MotionWorks slowed to an unacceptable crawl.

I reverted back to rev 2.1 and it works much faster.

Any other users having 3.0 performance issues - any ideas?
