Servo Drive Repair

I have a Bystar 4KW 3015 laser and had servo drive fail 200 AMP 750RPM .I have replaced it twice over time with a used drive. I am reluctant to install the brand new one in case it fails due to problem down stream. Is there away of testing to see what caused the failure. Has anyone got any information on how to repair them.? Circuit diagram, bench testing.

push the cutting bridge when the power is off, if it feels like it's humping or cogging, you shorted the output stage in the drive. If you disconnect the motor from the drive and it gets easier to push, you verified you have a short, most likely in the output stage of the drive. If you have to push real hard overall, you probably have a loose magnet in the motor. I think my friend has a motor and I have a pile of servo parts. They're modular and fairly easy to troubleshoot. I'm in the USA, mostly on the east coast. loose magnets kill the servos, they jam the motor.

Being iconoclastic is sort of like that, I suppose. I once got a fail for creating a graph where the x-axis went from right to left, and the (biased) teacher insisted that my father (Chinese) helped me with it.
