Are the seismic maps available electronically? I need to determine seismic coefficients fairly often and being able to zoom in on an area would be a big help. I bought an electronic version of the whole ASCE standard but it only works on one computer (my office machine) and I'm often on my laptop away from the office. All I need are the seismic maps.

A brief look at the maps there seems to show differences between them. Does ASCE 7 use of one or the other? I'm calculating seismic response of liquid storage tanks. The API 650 code refers to the mapped ASCE 7 spectral response accelerations 5% damped 0.2 seconds and 5% damped 1 second for 2% 50 year probability. The API code also uses 0.40 times the short parameter in lieu of looking it up.

heh - yes.

I just changed jobs so I'm a bit discombobulated. I've now put it on my favorites so I won't forget it.
