Set mm as default units when importing DXF/DWG file

Is there a way to set the units to mm instead of inches as a default unit when importing a DXF/DWG file.
The screen is DXF/DWG import - Document settings and under Units of imported data.
I import a lot of files and I often forget to change the units.

SolidWorks 2007 SP 3.1
Work-XP Pro SP2 Home-XP Home SP2

I read through your link but it never mentioned how to set the default import dxf file unit to mm. I can set mm by picking the drop down list but it reverts back to inches the second time around. I want mm to be there in the units of measure all the time so I don't need to pick from the drop down list.
All other document settings are set to mm or the metric system settings on this machine.

Open DXF, select 'next' until you get to the preview window. There is a drop-down on the left called 'Input file properties', select the drop-down and units you need.

Yes I can manually click on the drop down box and pick mm every time I insert a dxf shape into my SW part file but I can't get mm to stay as the default unit.
I am in SW part file and inserting a DXF shape into a SW sketch. I get to this screen

and I have to pick mm everytime I get here. Is it possible to change this to mm as the default unit?

Link does not work.
Change the settings, Tool/options/Document Properties, then save the file.
