I have imported a raster image to AutoCad 2002,and used a polyline to trace topo lines. The raster has a boundary that shows as 10.9018 units when dimensioned, but I want it to be 250 feet.

I have searched my Sybex book and this forum, but I guess I get the dunce award... I can't figure out how to do it.

Can anyone help?

use the Scale ~ Reference command.
type SCALE ~ select the objects you want scaled, select the base point, then hit R (for Reference).
You will then be asked for a reference length (in your case, 10.9018), then you will be prompted for the new length ~ enter 250 feet. hit <enter> and your done !
This will work for both the raster and for any autocad entities you may have drawn.
I normally scale up any rasters I have to trace before tracing them ~ hopefully making the tracing a little bit more accurate ~ you can always Scale ~ Reference the autocad entites after you have traced them as long as you have a known reference length
